I apologize for the inconvenience, but I had to end my Box membership, so they will only allow a set number of downloads per month. Once I’m moved and have settled in to my new home, I should be able to once again afford the monthly fees. In the mean time please come back at the first of the month and try downloading. Free: Holiday Editable Address Labels

I love to send {and receive} holiday cards! I try my best to send them out by December 1st, but that usually doesn't happen. I made printable wrap-around labels for those of us who are fashionably late with our cards. No more endless hand writing, now I can copy the addresses from my Christmas card list and paste them directly into the labels.

Free: Thanksgiving Planner

It's that time of year again - the turkey, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, rolls… yummm!

With only two weeks left until Thanksgiving, now is the time to finalize the guest list, order the turkey, deep clean the house, start planning the menu and deciding who should bring what.

Free: Halloween Décor Inventory & Box Labels

Hi everyone! Now that Halloween is over and the candy comas have worn off, it's time to pack away the decorations until next year.

Yesterday, I packed up all of my spooky décor and labeled my new orange and purple storage bins. Now I can just read the label on the front of each bin and instantly know everything that is inside! The inventory list lets me know where each container is stored, so no more unstacking, rummaging through and re-stacking!

Free: End of the Year Review and New Year's Goals

It’s hard to believe that this year has come to an end. It has been a year of high highs and low lows in our house and I’m more than ready to say hasta la vista to 2011.

I wanted to start a new family tradition of recording our favorite moments from the past year and what we’re most looking forward to in the coming year. So in preparing for 2012, I created 2 printables to help me wrap up 2011 and look toward the New Year. These would be great for kids and adults alike.

Free: Christmas Décor Inventory & Ornament Journal

This Christmas my husband and I finally replaced our old tree, which prompted us to also update our color scheme. Just what I needed, more ornaments to put away lol. I'm bound and determined to organize all of my Holiday decorations, so I came up with an inventory to help me keep track what's exactly in my 10 plus boxes. I've labeled my boxes from 1-10, but if you have an upward of 50 boxes you may want to label them by room. Example: if a box is filled with ornaments for your tree that's placed in the living room, you may want to label it LR-1. Happy organizing!

Nutcracker Makeover

When a friend gave us this Nutcracker he was a mess, but now he's fabulous thanks to a little paint and glitter! I love unconventional Christmas colors so I used silver and blue, which goes great with my DIY Ornament Wreath. This was a really fun holiday project and it gave me an excuse to drag out the glitter.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

If you want to try this yourself here are a few tips:
  • If you can't remove the fiber hair and beard, cover them with plastic food wrap before painting. Rubber bands also help.
  • Once you've painted and glittered, coat with a matte finish acrylic-based sealant.  Use short bursts and spray in a side-to-side motion to insure that you cover all of the glitter.

I used FolkArt paint in Metallic Ice Blue and Extreme Glitter

Free Christmas Card Planner + Card List With Addresses

Morning everyone! I have a confession to make; I have never been one of those people who magically send out Holiday cards the day after Thanksgiving. I'm lucky if I get the cards ordered and sent the week before Christmas. This year hopefully that will change now that I have two new printables, which should help me stay organized. I hope they work for you as well.

Christmas Ornament Wreath

Who says wire hangers are tacky? I used a free hanger from the dry cleaners and dollar store ornaments to make this simple and dazzling holiday wreath. I want to try making another one in the future using only vintage ornaments.

Supplies:
  • one wire hanger
  • glue gun
  • 65-80 round ornaments (small sizes are helpful when filling gaps)

  1. Take your hanger and bend it into the form of a circle.
  2. Grab your glue gun and secure the metal/plastic cap to the ornament with a little dab of hot glue. That way the ornaments won't fall off as you string them onto the hanger, I learned this the hard way.
  3. String the ornaments onto the hanger and have fun playing around with the different colors. If you don't like the configuration it's easy to fix.
  4. Once you have everything how you want it, simply re-twist the end of the hanger to close. I camouflaged the hook end of the hanger by wrapping it in the same color as the ribbon and bow.

I found this site after starting my wreath, you may find it helpful.
